Life Stories

Life Stories is about exploring Shropshire's landscape; how it has shaped the lives of the people who live in it, and how they have shaped the landscape in turn.

The project is part of the new Living Landscape approach to nature conservation being pioneered nationally by the Wildlife Trusts. In Shropshire, that vision is as wide as the county itself; to recreate a wild place that starts outside your back door and runs right up to the highest peak of the Stiperstones. To begin with we are focusing on eight pilot areas, which Life Stories will explore throughout the year, with the results presented here for you to explore.
