Shropshire Wildlife Trust’s visitor centre and offices are set in walled gardens opposite Shrewsbury Abbey, a tranquil escape from the ceaseless traffic outside.

The medieval building in our gardens is the Old Infirmary, once part of Shrewsbury Abbey. Now it is furnished and equipped to provide some of the most attractive conference facilities in the county.
We run a wide range of events at the Trust, from seasonal Saturday Fairs to rural craft workshops and children’s events. Nature Tots, a pre-school group, meets here every Friday morning.
We are open from 10.00-4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
