What you can expect of us

• Practical work parties will be led by a suitably trained and qualified person.
• We will explain to you why the task needs doing.
• We will explain site and task specific risks to you at the start of the day.
• You will be given full instruction in how to use any tools.
• You will be provided with the proper equipment (including personal protective equipment where appropriate) to carry out your task.
• You will be covered under Shropshire Wildlife Trust insurance whilst undertaking work sanctioned by the Trust.
• The support and thanks of Shropshire Wildlife Trust staff for volunteering your time.

What we ask of you.

• That you book your place on a work party in advance
• That you work safely with due regard for your fellow volunteers.
• To have due regard for the safety advice given
• Raise any concerns, issues or problems you may have to a relevant member of staff.
• Come dressed to get dirty!
