During July we offer exciting and enjoyable opportunities for school students.
Work experience is an excellent way to learn about working life, get hands-on experience in your potential career path and identify your skills and passion. Work experience is available for young people who are in full time education and attending Secondary School in Shropshire.
Each student will have a difference experience with us and itineraries are put together depending on what staff members are doing that week, but you will work with a range of departments, involved in:
- Practical conservation work
- Campaigning for wildlife
- Wildlife monitoring
- River health training
- Communications and marketing
Dates for 2020 will be announced soon so please keep an eye on this page!

Work experience placements are being offered as part of our Growing Confidence project - a funded project to inspire the next generation of environment leaders. We have lots of events and activities available throughout the year.
