Birch log next boxes
The silver birch log is ideal for those who prefer a more natural look. To clean, simply unscrew one side of the lid. As this is a natural product there will be some variations in dimensions.
Left: Birch log open next box - suitable for species such as robins, wrens and blackbirds.

Woodstone nest boxes
Constructed from a mix of concrete and wood fibres, woodstone nest boxes safeguard against attacks from predators and also insulate the nest creating a more consistent internal temperature, especially important during the breeding season. Use aluminium nails to hang due to the weight of the nest box and to limit any damage caused to trees.

Birch log woodpecker nest box
This specialist woodpecker nest box offers woodpeckers the opportunity to excavate their own entrance hole and create their own home. It should be sited at a height of 2-3 metres and to encourage them you can also line the box with a layer of forest soil or peat. This nest box is supplied with a small drilled hole to encourage woodpeckers to expand this as they would in the wild. The hollowed out birch log blends in naturally with your garden environment. The box can be cleaned easily by simply unscrewing the roof.

Treecreeper nest box
This plywood nest box provides a great alternative nesting site for treecreepers who usually nest behind loose bark on old trees. Width: 13cm, length: 12.5cm, height: 35cm.
Birds of prey
Woodstone Tawny owl box
A durable nest box designed to provide a perfect nest site for Tawny Owls. Comes with a sturdy mounting bracket and two adjustable securing points near the base allow for straightforward fixing to a tree. Dimensions 28 x 30.5 x 52cm.
Little owl nest box
Made from 18mm exterior grade plywood for added protection from the elements and includes a large nesting chamber that allows the owlets to exercise their wings without having to leave the safety of the nest box. A special double baffle entrance keeps the nest chamber dark and also protects them from predation. Site between 3 and 5 metres high on an isolated tree or building. Dimensions: 49 x 85 x 35cm.
Kestrel nest box
This kestrel nest box provides kestrels with shelter for their eggs and young whilst still giving the adults a good view of the surrounding area. It should be sited at least 5m high, facing south east and with a clear flight path in. The nest box is made from durable, exterior grade plywood and is supplied with a mounting bracket. Woodstone Burgos swift box
This Burgos swift nest box is made entirely from woodstone material and has the entrance on the front of the box. It should be hung directly under a roof overhang or gutter, avoiding direct sunlight. It comes with a metal bracket for easy mounting. Dimensions: 38 x 22 x 26 cm. Weight 6kg.
Plywood swift box
This swift nest box is made entirely from plywood and has the entrance on the front of the box. It should be hung directly under a roof overhang or gutter, avoiding direct sunlight Dimensions 49 x 21 x 22cm. Weight: 3kg.
Swallow plywood backed nest (single)
This plywood backed swallow nest should be sited inside a building which allows easy access for swallows via an open door or window, such as a garage or outhouse. Dimensions: 20 x 12 x 11cm.
House martin plywood backed nest
Providing an artificial nest can be really beneficial for house martins struggling to find suitable buildings on which to build their nests. The backing to the nests is exterior grade plywood, making them lightweight and easy to fit, but hard-wearing. These nests should be sited underneath the eaves on exterior walls of your house or outbuildings, at a minimum height of 2m above the ground. They are available as a single or double nests, but martins do prefer to be part of a colony.

Woodstone house martin nest
These nests have been developed specifically for house martins and research has shown that the white coloured back panel helps to attract them. Fixings are included, making the nests simple to hang under the eaves of your building. They are constructed from woodstone, a mix of concrete and wood fibres and guaranteed for 10 years.
