Membership recruiters
We are looking for friendly, outgoing and physically fit people to join our team as door-to-door membership recruiters.
The role requires 3-4 hours work on Saturdays delivering brochures about Shropshire Wildlife Trust. This will be followed by 2-hour shifts for 3-4 evenings a week, collecting brochures and encouraging people to join as members.
Core skills
There is no one set of qualifications or experiences that make an ideal D2D recruiter. However you should possess:
- An enjoyment of Shropshire’s wildlife
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Confidence to deal with a wide range of people
- An ability to close a deal, so experience of low pressure selling is a plus but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Self motivation skills
- A full driving licence is useful but not essential.
You will be paid an hourly rate + commission. Extra hours available depending on results.
Membership recruiters are fully integrated into the organisation and take part in a range of training opportunities and visits to Trust nature reserves.
