Youth Forum
Have a voice in the future of wildlife and wild spaces in Shropshire.
We want to hear your ideas about protecting the environment and shaping the future of nature in our county. The Youth Forum is a space where young people can share their views, influence the work of Shropshire Wildlife Trust, and take action for wildlife.
As a member of the Youth Forum, you’ll work alongside staff and trustees to help shape the direction of the Trust. You’ll have the chance to contribute ideas, influence decisions and get involved in projects that support wildlife and raise awareness of nature in your community.
It’s also a chance to build skills and gain experience – whether you’re simply interested in nature or thinking about a future career in conservation.
By joining the Youth Forum you can:
- Learn how charities like Shropshire Wildlife Trust and The Wildlife Trusts operate.
- Build confidence and develop new skills.
- Discover career pathways in conservation and the environmental sector.
- Explore ways individuals and communities can take action for nature.
- Speak up for wildlife in your community and beyond.
Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to be part of the change you want to see for nature.
The Youth Forum is open to anyone aged between 16 and 30 and live, work or study in Shropshire or Telford and Wrekin.
If you are interested in being involved, we’d love to hear from you! Please email youth@shropshirewildlifetrust.org.uk and we will be in touch with more information.
"Youth voices should be centred in the movement, and they deserve to be heard at full volume."
