Volunteering for nature
Help us protect and restore Shropshire's wild spaces as a volunteer
Our team of 300 volunteers help us manage our reserves, engage communities across the county, undertake monitoring and mapping, organise our local branches, and run our vibrant visitor centre. Simply put, we couldn’t do it without them!
There are lots of ways to get involved, with roles to suit different personalities, abilities and preferences. Whether you have a few hours to spare or a few days, we’d love to hear from you!
Rather than taking 'general' volunteers, we recruit volunteers for specific roles to meet the needs of our organisation. You can see the list of our open volunteer roles below.
If one of these roles looks suitable for you, please fill in our volunteer form to register your interest.
Open Roles
These are the volunteer roles we are currently looking to fill. If there’s nothing quite right for you at the moment, please check back, as new roles will be advertised regularly!

Youth Forum member
Our youth forum is open to people aged 16-30 who live, work, or study in Shropshire. Meet like-minded people, learn more about nature, develop your skills, and influence the work of the Trust.
