Outdoor fun and wild play activities, perfect for children aged 1 to 5 years!
Join us every week for outdoor adventures with our inspiring Wildlings leaders. Children and grown-ups can play, explore, discover and investigate our two special outdoor spaces. Building dens, jumping in puddles, hunting for minibeasts and making mud pies is what Wildlings is all about!
Get to know other wild families and take some time out for relaxation, fresh air and fun. Whatever the season or weather, our campfire is always ready to warm you up.
Where and when
Wednesdays 10.30am - 12.00pm @ The Cut Visitor Centre, Shrewsbury, SY2 6AH
Thursdays 10.30am - 12.00pm @ Alderford Lake, Whitchurch, SY13 3JQ
Who can attend
Sessions are most suited for those aged 18months - 5 years. Babies in arms can attend for free if accompanying an older sibling. Older siblings are also welcome to attend over the summer, with a suggested age cap of 7, as our activities are aimed at younger audiences.
Pricing and booking
Sessions cost £6 per child (plus a 50p booking fee). We are offering weekly bookings throughout the summer (i.e. no block bookings).
Alternatively you can purchase on the day at Shrewsbury (not Alderford), but please note we have 25 spaces available each week, so if these are filled when you turn up you will be turned away.
Please note the Alderford entry fee for the appropriate number of adults / children will still need to be paid each week. This can be paid on the gate but is cheaper online via their website.
Wildlings equipment will be laid out each week in the play area (rather than there being individual sets) so it will be shared between children. We will disinfect all equipment between sessions.
If you or a member of your household is showing ANY signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or you have been told by NHS Track and Trace to isolate, you must not attend the session.
If you have booked but are unable to attend we will be able to transfer your booking to another week.
