Work parties

"Getting out and about, doing more than just walking, learning about wildlife and understanding why the Trust keeps on cutting down trees are just some of the reasons I enjoy the days outside. A bonfire on a cold, crisp day in winter is something special."

Volunteering on nature reserves

Volunteering on nature reserves

Are you looking for fresh air, fun and exercise? If so, come along and join one of our regular weekday work parties do some important and worthwhile practical conservation on nature reserves around Shropshire.

We provide transport to the site, all the tools, training, hot drinks and biscuits...

All you need is a packed lunch, old clothes, strong shoes or boots and/or wellington boots, and most importantly a waterproof coat and trousers.

Each work party leaves from our Shrewsbury headquarters at 9am. The work is very popular and places on the minibus are limited, so if you want to take part, please contact us first.
