Health and Wellbeing

We are currently delivering two ground breaking projects which aim to use nature based approaches to tackle health issues.

Feed the Birds

Feed the Birds connects socially isolated individuals with a volunteer, who visits each week to feed the birds, providing vital social contact. Click here for more information.

Our 12 week nature-based programme, free for anyone (aged 18+) living in Telford & Wrekin who wants to improve their health & wellbeing through outdoor practical activities. Click here for more information.

The Cut Garden
Project

The Cut Garden Project

A fantastic group of volunteers have come together to revitalise Shropshire Wildlife Trust's gardens. This Heritage Lottery funded project will explore the garden’s history and enable visitors to learn more about the wildlife, history and the buildings at The Cut Visitor Centre in Shrewsbury.

Local Wildlife Sites

Local Wildlife Sites (LWS) are areas selected for their nature conservation value and include threatened habitats and species within a national, regional and local context, 

We are always looking for volunteers to help us monitor these sites.
