Woods for Water
About the event
Join us for this free event to hear from conservationists and researchers on how using woods from trees and other plants can be used in land management by preventing/reducing the risk of flooding and how it can also increase biodiversity by supporting wildlife.
There will also be a fascine demonstration just outside of the venue.
(Fascine: a bundle of brushwood or other material used to strengthen natural structures, or to make a path across uneven or wet terrain.)
Refreshments will be provided and the morning will end with a catered lunch by Green Wood Cafe just inside the venue.
