About the event
Stepping Stones is a landscape-scale nature conservation project in the Shropshire Hills. The project takes an innovative, landscape-scale approach to conservation. The aim is ecological connectivity: connecting wildlife habitats in y strengthening or creating ‘stepping stones’ and corridors between or around the two core sites of the Stiperstones and Long Mynd. In practice this means creating areas of heathland, flower-rich grassland and broad-leaf woodland and linking them by a network of hedgerows, road verges, hillsides and stream side wetlands https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/shropshire-staffordshire/carding…
