Plants, Minibeasts and Habitats Workshop

What you need to know...

Suitable for: KS1 / KS2

Time: Half day or full day session available

Location: Your school grounds or a green space local to you

Workshop content

If you have a hedge in your school grounds or at a nearby green space, we can bring to life your topic on plants, minibeasts or habitats.

Our cross-curricular hedgerow session, developed in collaboration with the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and CPRE Shropshire, weaves together elements of scientific study techniques, maths, species identification, role play, creative writing and art.

We also offer advice on school grounds improvements and can help your school to use your ‘free tree’ packs to plant, create or restore a hedge in the school grounds.

So, contact our Education and Learning Team for more information about how we can help make your workshop an experience the class will remember.
