About the reserve

Nature conservation begins at home. Shropshire Wildlife Trust's headquarters in Shrewsbury includes a garden incorporating vegetable beds, climbing roses, a solar fountain, many interesting fruit trees and shrubs and a wooded area with spring bulbs. It is theprefect place to sit and escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

The shop stocks a wide range of bird food and feeders along with numerous gift items and greeting cards.

Visitors can take a seat in the quiet surroundings of our garden, and take in the buildings which were once part of the nearby abbey.

There are also conference facilities available for hire, more details can be found here.

More information about the visitor centre, can be found here.
