Our 2021 Annual General Meeting takes place online on Tuesday 19th October from 7.00pm.

About the event

The meeting will be followed by two talks, the first by Welsh Beaver Officer, Alicia Leow-Dyke on beavers, then Shropshire Wildlife Trust's Ellie Larkham will present an update on Natural Childhood.

Trustees Rod Aspinwall and Katie Foster will stand down at the end of their second terms. Roger Owen is standing for a second four-year term. Dr Quentin Shaw is standing for a first term; a résumé can be viewed below.

Quentin Shaw portrait

After working abroad as an expedition doctor and rural medical officer, Quentin spent 27 years working as a GP in Telford, where he was involved in projects promoting the health benefits of time spent in nature.

He is keen to encourage a more diverse population to enjoy the countryside and is a Friend of Telford Town Park and Pontesford Hill Nature Reserve.
