About the event

Do you think you never see any wildlife? Tracks, droppings, feeding signs, pellets, tufts of hair on a barbed wire fence…. Anyone can find the clues and work out the villains and victims.

Look into the fascinating world of forensic wildlife watching! Come and examine our collection of specimens and see if you can solve the ‘who dunnit’ questions. Explore the garden too, and see if you can find traces of wildlife here in the heart of Shrewsbury. Take your new-found skills home with you and work out who visits your garden in the hours of darkness. There’s a lot of wild things out there that you never see! Magnifying glasses provided – bring your own deerstalker.
