The Perry & Peatlands Demonstrator Project, part of the Severn Valley Water Management Scheme, is undertaking work at a site near Bettisfield, Whitchurch. This is a nature based flood alleviation scheme involving tree and hedgerow planting with associated fencing. Details are included in the attached tender document and schedule of works. Site plans can be provided on request.

About
The Perry & Peatlands ‘demonstrator project’ is part of the Severn Valley Water Management Scheme. The scheme is managed by Shropshire Council through the River Severn Partnership and has its focus on peatland in the River Perry. It is being delivered by the Shropshire Wildlife Trust.
