Wednesday 21st March 2018

Furber's scrapyard

We are seeking tenders for the production of an outline interpretation plan for the Marches Mosses BogLIFE project LIFE/15/NAT/UK/000786.

We need consultants to develop an action plan that will deliver key project outcomes on visitor management, public engagement, information and interpretation.
The Mosses have several public access points/car parks and several self-guided trails, for which leaflets are already available. There are also a number of static interpretation panels.
In addition there are some off-site locations that might be suitable for interpretation.
We have already undertaken work to identify existing and potential audiences and identified themes and messages.

This plan needs to cover:

  • Key themes and messages to be communicated (already agreed)
  • Visitor management issues to be addressed (already agreed)
  • The main interpretive locations (on and off site)
  • Recommendations for digital/virtual interpretation
  • Recommendations for message/media/site/audience
  • Recommendations for evaluating the interpretation
  • Cost estimates for each recommendation

The contract will initially be for phase I. Phase II is included for information, but will be subject to funder approval.

Quotes should be returned by email to by 12 noon on 5th April 2018.
