Lowland Heath & Invertebrates - Bridgnorth Branch
Location:
Bridgnorth Library, Listley Street, Bridgnorth,, WV16 4AW
We’re delighted to welcome Hayley Dorrington, Warden at Highgate Common with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, for an evening exploring the importance of lowland heathland — one of the UK’s rarest and most threatened habitats.
About the event
Hayley will share her experience managing these unique landscapes for invertebrates, from bees and beetles to butterflies, explaining how practical conservation helps maintain the delicate balance of this ecosystem. Discover the small but mighty species that depend on heathlands — and how targeted management can protect them for generations to come.
