Shropshire Rookery Survey 2025
Shropshire Ornithological Society needs your help to survey the active rookeries in Shropshire.
This Citizen Science project aims to discover all the currently unrecorded rookeries, before counting the nests within each in April 2025. Presently, there are 383 known locations of active rookeries in Shropshire, but there are plenty more unreported and waiting to be discovered.
This autumn and winter report any rookeries you find, so the locations is known. Then, in April 2025, return to these rookeries and count the number of nests.
