Nature for children and youth

The youth of today are nature's ambassadors of tomorrow. Ignite the spark of interest in nature and wildlife at an early age and it will create a lifelong love of the natural world as well as a happy and healthy child.

Our Education and Learning team provide events and activities for toddlers, a primary schools nature partnership and a programme of youth involvement including practical work parties.

The Visitor Centre and Wild Child Garden are where we hold our Shrewsbury Wildlings sessions for the under 5s, plus an excellent idea for celebrating birthdays with our Wild Child Parties.

My children are happiest and healthiest outside so take in the most information. They have a great understanding of their environment and I think every child deserves that
