Event details
About the event
The Branch Team will be concentrating on supporting local schemes whatever the size in order to enhance nature recover. We are very grateful to Michael Northwood for sharing his experience and knowledge with us.
The talk will be based on two illustrated talks previously given to the Teme Valley Wildlife Group, to raise awareness about the rarity and value of traditional, species-rich grassland and to give an insight into his various methods of managing each area of the farmland, using an alpine tractor, native breed cattle for conservation grazing, and manual labour with a scythe to control bracken. Refreshments will be served after Michael’s talk.
