Join us for a special drop-in event at The Cut, celebrating the wonderful variety of garden birds that bring life and song to our school grounds, parks, and backyards. Whether you’re a family looking for a fun activity or an individual wanting to learn more about wildlife on your doorstep, this day is for you!
About the event
Led by Dr Cath Price, the event will feature:
- Make your own fat ball feeders (all ingredients provided, donations welcome)
- Handouts and fact sheets packed with tips on encouraging birds into your garden
- Advice on making, choosing, and siting nestboxes
- Hints for photographing birds at home
- A free competition with something for everyone to enjoy
It’s the perfect chance to connect with local wildlife and pick up practical skills to support the feathered friends that rely on our gardens. Families are especially welcome, and if you’d prefer a quieter time, we recommend visiting in the afternoon.
