About the event
Andrew May worked in international development overseas and airline commerce, now retired to the Shropshire Hills. Currently he is Treasurer to Strettons Shropshire Wildlife Trust, Marches Meadows Group and Caring for God’s Acre.
Since 2021, we have managed Nant Valley, a nine-acre site of mixed meadow, woodland and scrub, with one aim — to improve biodiversity. Our approach is practical and small-scale and the land now supports a rich mix of wildlife.
In this talk we share the story of how Nant Valley has developed and the lessons learned along the way
