About the event

Join the Bridgnorth Branch of Shropshire Wildlife Trust for an evening with Sarah Mackness from Shropshire Wildlife Trust, exploring the Slow the Flow Project and natural flood management.

The talk will explore how restoring natural processes across the landscape can help slow the movement of water, reduce flood risk and create wider benefits for wildlife. From healthy soils and wetlands to natural features within our rivers and catchments, working with nature can be an important part of building more resilient landscapes.

Come along to discover more about natural flood management and the work taking place to help Shropshire's landscapes become better equipped to cope with extreme weather.
