We are looking for additional committee members including a Treasurer and a publicity member. We are involved in a number of ad-hoc outdoor activities, if you would like to get involved please e-mail us your details and we will keep you updated.
All talks start at 7pm at the Cut Visitor Centre, Abbey Foregate, SY2 6AH. Members £3 non-members £4. Booking not required for indoor events, but arrive early to secure your seat. Booking essential for walks and may be member only events.

Tuesday 21st April - Forest Schools: Nature, Learning and Well-being by Natasha Branston of Educating Kids Outdoors
We work with local wildlife and community groups in Shrewsbury to monitor, protect and enhance wildlife and promote wildlife conservation and a healthy environment. Current activities include:
Protecting our green and blue corridors and spaces for wildlife through the monitoring of planning applications, supporting local campaigns to save green spaces and assisting in wildlife monitoring
Working in alliance with other interest groups to oppose the North West Road
Supporting the Belle Vue Tree Group to meet tree planting targets
Assisting the Rivers Team to monitor water quality
Organising a varied programme of talks on current conservation and environmental issues
Organising a varied programme of walks showcasing local wildlife and conservation programmes
