Lightmoor,
Lightmoor is on the western fringes of Telford., TF4 3STJoin Community Reserves Officer Matt Hawkins and local wildlife expert Phil Playford to learn about how to identify and survey reptiles and contribute to monitoring local wildlife populations.
About the event
Lightmoor Nature Reserve is an excellent site for reptiles and amphibians who like the range of different types and heights of grass and other vegetation.
We are setting up a reptile monitoring programme on the site, which we would like to be led by young people. Come along to learn from reserves officer Matt and wildlife expert Phil about how to look for and identify reptile species.
This is part of a range of activities Shropshire Wildlife Trust is offering specifically for young people aged 16-25.
